Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

OneQuote (“we”, “us”) operates one-quote.com from 727 North Shore Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33141. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, request a freight quote, or contact us.

2. What we collect

Information you give us:

• Name, email, company and phone number when you request a quote or write to us
• Shipment details you enter or confirm (origin, destination, cargo, weight, dates)
• Free-text descriptions of your shipment typed into the drafting assistant, and messages sent through the contact form

Collected automatically: a salted, one-way hash of your IP address, used only to limit abuse (rate limiting). We do not run advertising trackers.

3. How the AI drafting assistant works

When you use “Draft my request”, the text you typed is sent to Anthropic's Claude model through Anthropic's API so that it can be turned into a structured quote request. The model is instructed not to invent details and never to give prices. You review and can edit every field before anything is sent to us.

Anthropic acts as our service provider for this processing. We do not send contact details (name, email, phone) to the model; only the shipment description you typed and the draft fields.

Our freight specialists may also use the same AI service to help draft email replies about your request. For that, your first name, the request details and the quotes we prepared are sent to the model; your email address and phone number are not. A person reviews and sends every reply.

4. How we use your information

• To prepare and answer your quote request, including sourcing rates from carriers and freight partners
• To respond to enquiries
• To prevent abuse and keep the site secure
• To meet legal obligations

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share shipment details with carriers or freight partners only as needed to obtain rates for your request. We also use service providers for hosting, email delivery and the AI assistant described above, and we disclose information where the law requires it.

6. Shipment tracking

If you use the tracking page or ask the assistant to track a shipment, the container, bill of lading or booking number you enter is sent to our tracking provider (Terminal49) to retrieve its status. We keep the returned status for up to 10 minutes as a cache and the number for up to 90 days.

7. Cookies

The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser may keep ordinary technical data needed to load pages.

8. Retention

Quote requests are kept for up to 90 days after our last reply, then deleted. Contact messages are kept for up to 2 years. Rate-limit hashes are deleted within 24 hours.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to processing. Email privacy@one-quote.com and we will respond within 30 days.

10. Security

Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS and access to stored requests is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page.
